Description

As from 1st October 2024, under the Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act 2023 and the Statutory Code of Practice on Fair and Transparent Distribution of Tips, it is mandatory for pubs, bars, and restaurants to have a written tipping policy. This detailed policy ensures fair distribution of all gratuities, tips, and service charges in compliance with the law. It covers both cash and card tips, ensuring transparency and fairness among staff, and includes guidelines for alternative forms of tips, such as drinks gifted in lieu of cash.

The policy is immediately downloadable, in Microsoft Word format, so it is easy to format it to exactly meet the requirements of your business.
